Laboratory Technician

Lallemand Inc has an exciting opportunity available for a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Burton upon Trent. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary, company pension scheme plus related benefits.

This vacancy is located in Burton on Trent, where we manufacture processing aids for the brewing industry.

Responsibilities as our Laboratory Technician:

• Quality control of finished products, goods in and in-process materials
• Performing internal quality and HACCP audits
• Involvement in related activities e.g. QA, product development and customer support, including operation of small-scale brewing equipment

What do you need to become our Laboratory Technician?

• Science degree (chemistry, microbiology or similar)
• Microbiology qualification and/or experience in practical microbiology
• One year’s lab experience in the food/drinks industry
• Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative and works well in a team
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Computer-literate including Microsoft Office and LIMS software
