This is an excellent opportunity to build your career in a busy laboratory environment, working with construction materials and supporting projects that make a real impact.About the Role As a Laboratory Technician, you''ll be responsible for carrying out laboratory testing in accordance with British and European Standards while maintaining the highest levels of quality, accuracy, and customer service.Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and testing soil, bituminous, and cementitious construction materials.Scheduling and organising laboratory samples for testing.Calibrating laboratory equipment and carrying out routine maintenance.Recording, preparing, and presenting accurate test data.Cross-checking calculations and supporting quality assurance processes.Assisting with the training of colleagues on laboratory test methods.Conducting daily equipment and moisture content checks.Preparing calibration samples and SRD sand for site technicians.Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised laboratory environment.Supporting the wider team with additional duties as required.
