Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Laboratory Technician Location: Canning Town, London Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (5 days per week) Type: Full-timeOverview We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Laboratory Technician to join their team in Canning Town. This role is ideal for someone with a science or technical background who enjoys working in a laboratory environment and following structured analytical procedures. You will support routine testing, laboratory operations, and data recording while maintaining high quality and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine analytical testing in accordance with approved methods and standard operating procedures (ICUMSA methods).Prepare samples, reagents, and standards for laboratory analysis following defined procedures.Accurately record, check, and store test results and laboratory data using approved systems or templates.Maintain shelf life and stability studies, including sample preparation, monitoring, and data logging.Perform routine equipment checks, verification, and basic calibration activities as trained, ensuring records are maintained.Identify and promptly escalate deviations, equipment issues, or abnormal results to senior laboratory staff.Maintain strong laboratory housekeeping and 5S standards, ensuring a safe and organised workspace.Support laboratory administrative tasks, including sample tracking, documentation control, and consumables management.Education and ExperienceEssentialLevel 3 ..... full job details .....
