This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about food technology and development, eager to contribute to exciting new product initiatives.Key Responsibilities:As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Laboratory Supervisor and Development team. Your responsibilities will include: Laboratory Management: - Organise the laboratory to ensure all labelling, materials, and fixtures meet appropriate standards. Maintain cleanliness and order in the laboratory, overseeing equipment use, cleaning schedules, and quality systems.Conduct daily calibrations of key equipment for development work.Liaise with contract companies for cleaning, maintenance, and waste disposal procedures.Create and monitor cleaning and maintenance schedules for lab equipment.Ensure proper stock rotation and traceability of incoming materials by coordinating with suppliers.Maintain detailed records of ingredients, processes, and procedures for full traceability.Uphold good laboratory practises and assist in writing and reviewing procedures and guidelines.
