This is an exciting opportunity to oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring a safe, compliant and well-equipped environment that enables scientific teams to deliver their research and development programmes.-You will take ownership of laboratory operations, health and safety, biosafety, quality systems and complaince, equipment management and procurement, working closely with scientific and operational teams. Responsibilities Manage daily laboratory operations, inductions, procedures and sample storage. Lead laboratory health and safety, biosafety, risk assessments and COSHH compliance. Maintain quality systems, SOPs, laboratory records and GCLP-aligned processes. Support audits, inspections, deviations and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Oversee equipment servicing, calibration, maintenance and asset management. Manage procurement, stock levels, supplier relationships and laboratory budgets.
