Laboratory Day Analyst

Laboratory Day Analyst Support laboratory quality, testing and technical improvement Wolviston Management Services is proud to be working in partnership with Tioxide to recruit a Laboratory Day Analyst for their Greatham site. This is a key laboratory role providing analytical and technical support to plant and site teams. You will carry out routine and non-routine testing accurately and reliably, support laboratory systems, maintain quality and environmental standards, and help ensure the production of safe, high-quality tonnes. You will also support laboratory improvement, equipment care, investigations, new test methods, training and technical guidance for shift teams. What you ll be doing You will: Carry out analytical and routine testing accurately, reliably and in a timely manner. Maintain high safety standards using COSHH, Zero Harm tools and strong housekeeping practices. Review, update and maintain laboratory documentation and systems. Support development, implementation and evaluation of new laboratory equipment and test methods. Train shift personnel, apprentices and less experienced colleagues in new techniques. Maintain laboratory and plant-based equipment, including inspections, calibration, validation and troubleshooting. Act as a point of contact for contractors and service engineers.
