Laboratory Chemist

We are looking for a Laboratory Chemist to carry out laboratory project work to support sales of our product ranges. We are looking for a Laboratory Chemist to carry out laboratory project work to support sales of our product ranges. The chemist plans, undertakes and reports laboratory evaluations ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and legislation. The role is based in our in-house laboratory which provides the necessary QC, RandD, as well as technical support required for our current and future product range. There are three grades of chemist which can be progressed through via training, development and worked experience. There will be the occasional requirement to travel to offshore installations as required. Your Core Responsibilities and Tasks Work safely and effectively in a laboratory environment, adhering to COSHH and risk assessments. Undertakes General Laboratory Projects to overcome customers technical challenges. When necessary, carries out product development to provide sustainable solutions that contribute to future sales.
