Laboratory Assistant

Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant, to join a massive multinational consumer goods company that manufactures and sells a wide range of well-known household, personal care, and hygiene products at its site located in Newcastle on a contract basis for 8 months. This role is fully site based.-

Salary:
-13.30 per hour PAYE

Laboratory Assistant-Role:

• Weighing product and making solutions.
• Preparation and testing of formulations, including preparation of products for consumer tests; physical-and chemical analysis of formulations/products.
• Performing large or small-scale performance tests following defined test methods.
• General housekeeping and ensuring labs are kept appropriately according to operating procedures.
• Running mechanical equipment and computer-activated test methods.

Your Background:

• Hold a relevant scientific qualification.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
