This is a practical role working across laboratories, cleanrooms, and vacuum facilities, supporting engineers with test preparation, equipment operation, maintenance, calibration and fault-finding. About the Role Set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot High Vacuum (HV) and Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) systems. Carry out helium leak testing and leak localisation. Operate vacuum pumps, gauges, RGA and mass spectrometer equipment. Install, configure and verify pressure, temperature and vacuum instrumentation. Set up motor controllers, motion systems, drives and DAQ systems. Support thermal vacuum, tribology, contamination and environmental testing. Assemble mechanical fixtures, test rigs and laboratory equipment. Assemble electronic hardware, wiring harnesses and instrumentation.
