Proactive are recruiting for a Lab Technicians to work at a Pharmaceutical Microbiology laboratory in Wokingham. Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: 12.50- 14 (holiday paid). Hours of Work: 09:00 - 17:00Shift Patterns Available: Tues to Saturday (36 hours, 7.2 hours / day)Sunday to Thursday (36 hours, 7.2 hours / day)Friday to Monday (28.8 hours, 7.2 hours / day)Saturday and Sunday only (14.4 hours, 7.2 hours / day) with upfront training occurring during week days. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for:Perform a range of basic routine analysis, product manufacturing and sample preparation under supervision of a senior member of staff Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies, such as Standard Operating ProceduresUse of specified instrumentation and laboratory equipment, including calibration where requiredProduce reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work undertaken and resultsBe competent in the use of generic and specific software packages required for the role: Laboratory''s LIMS system, Q-Pulse, etcTo be considered for this Lab Technician role, you should possess the following:Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructionsAble to perform repetitive work to high standards in high throughput environmentFlexible and adaptable in a workplace and enjoys the challenge to adapt to different teams and working environmentsPrevious experience working within a lab environment and toGMP standards.
