Laboratory Technician 
15-25 hours per week ( Mon to Fri)
Salary: £25 - £30k per annum pro-rata - experience depending
Newcastle - Permanent

We have an amazing opportunity with an award winning specialist adhesives manufacturing company located in the North East. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct sampling and testing of adhesive products and substrates to industry standards.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with laboratory quality systems and industry regulations.
- Support the upkeep and operational readiness of lab equipment and facilities.
- Manage lab consumables, reagents, and retained samples.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners on testing and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records to support quality and audit requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

- A-Level or higher in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related science.
- Understanding of health and safety (QHSE/COSHH) practices in a chemical lab setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment is highly desirable.
-  NVQ Level 2 or equivalent are desirable however not mandatory
