Lab Technician - Packaging andamp; Materials TestingLocation: Menstrie, ClackmannanshireRate: £200-£300 per dayContract: ContractWe are looking for an experienced Lab Technician/Packaging Testing Specialist to join a specialist Technical Science andamp; Technology team based in Menstrie, Clackmannanshire.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in food andamp; drink packaging, materials testing or packaging technology to work within a highly technical laboratory environment, supporting the testing and validation of packaging solutions against international safety and performance standards.The RoleYou will play a key role in implementing and validating International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) testing methodologies, carrying out packaging and transit testing and supporting the ongoing development of laboratory testing capabilities.Key responsibilities will include:Implementing and validating ISTA testing proceduresOperating and maintaining transit simulation equipment including incline impact testers, vibration tables and drop testersDeploying and analysing shock logger dataSupporting the installation and validation of laboratory testing equipmentDeveloping and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Conducting packaging component testing and statistical analysisSupporting laboratory compliance, quality and Health andamp; SafetyManaging testing and validation activities through to completionAnalysing results and presenting findings and ..... full job details .....
