This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a scientific background who enjoys hands-on laboratory work, has a keen eye for detail, and is happy to travel to sites when required.Working closely with the Laboratory Manager, you''ll support the day-to-day running of the laboratory, carry out sample analysis, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure accurate recording of results. During peak harvest periods, you''ll also visit operational sites to collect samples, making a full UK driving licence essential.The RoleAs a Lab Technician, you''ll play a key role in supporting laboratory operations by delivering accurate analysis, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring laboratory equipment is calibrated and operating effectively. You''ll work as part of a collaborative team while following established laboratory procedures and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out laboratory analysis of samples safely, accurately, and within required timescales.Record and maintain laboratory results using internal databases and spreadsheets.Assist with the day-to-day operation and organisation of the laboratory.Maintain, calibrate, and perform routine checks on laboratory equipment.Support stock ..... full job details .....
