Lab Technician - Chemometrics Technician

Location: Southampton (5 days per week on-site) Contract: Temporary, minimum 6-month contract with potential extension Hours: 35 hours per week Pay Rate: 18.51 per hour (PAYE)The OpportunityWe are recruiting for a Chemometrics Technician to join a state-of-the-art Research and Development facility near Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist Applied Chemometrics Centre of Excellence, supporting cutting-edge scientific projects through the application of analytical chemistry, data science and chemometric methodologies.Working as part of a highly skilled laboratory team, you will help deliver robust chemical and sensory analysis, process complex datasets and contribute to the development of innovative analytical capabilities that support product development and scientific research.Key ResponsibilitiesApply chemometric techniques and methodologies to support chemical and sensory assessment projects.Process and analyse data generated through a range of analytical chemistry techniques, ensuring quality, accuracy and compliance.Provide analytical chemistry and chemometrics expertise to support reliable and scientifically robust results.Assist in the development of new analytical methods and capabilities to meet evolving business requirements.Support the application of chemometrics across a variety of product development and research programmes.Interpret complex data and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical ..... full job details .....
