Pertemps are recruiting for temp to perm Lab Assistants to work for our client in Burton on Trent. Our client is a medical company who are able to offer workers temp to perm positions to work in their compounding unit.-

In this role you will be able to positively impact the lives of patients by supporting with the production of medicines used for life-threatening or limiting illnesses.-


Hours / Shift Pattern
+ Monday to Friday
+ Rotating - Week 1- 6am to 2pm / Week 2- 1pm to 9pm / Week 3- 11am to 7pm

Your duties will include:
+ Prepare and record starting materials listed in batch documents
+ Aseptically manufacture products following department procedure

+ Use of laboratory equipment to correctly measure and mix chemicals in a safe and precise manner (glassware, containers, pipettes, syringes)
+ Perform visual quality checks, label and pack the finished product ready for dispatch
+ Support supervisors and managers by keeping stock levels maintained

The successful Manufacturing Operative / Lab Assistant will have:
+ Experience in a manufacturing, assembly or production environment
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction
+ Manage and prioritise-workload
+ Strong written and verbal English due to the working environment-

You will receive:
+ -14.09 per hour
