This is a full-time on-site role for a Political Campaign Manager located in Alton, IL, covering Illinois'' 15th Congressional District.
The Campaign Manager will:
Lead and implement the campaign’s strategic plan, fundraising, scheduling, and budgeting.
Serve as a close advisor and partner to the candidate, managing signature gathering and ballot access.
Manage campaign departments, vendors, and consultants across various functions.
Coordinate with staff, volunteers, the candidate, vendors, and consultants.
Manage the candidate’s schedule, including calls, events, canvasses, and media appearances.
Build and maintain relationships with local leaders, endorsers, unions, and community organizations.
Monitor campaign budget and ensure compliance with FEC requirements.
Represent the campaign publicly as needed.
Recruit, train, and supervise staff, interns, and volunteers.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and values-driven leadership.
Qualifications
Experience in political campaign management and related skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Project management experience.
Sales experience is a plus.
Leadership and organizational abilities.
Experience managing staff, fundraising, budgets, and consultants.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
At least two full campaign cycles of US Congressional experience, with preference for senior roles.
Understanding of Democratic campaign strategy in Central and Southern Illinois.
High emotional intelligence and a team-first mentality.
Proficiency with campaign tools like NGP VAN/Votebuilder, Google Workspace.
Bachelor''s degree in relevant fields preferred.
Ability to work in a smoke and drug-free environment.
Valid driver’s license and car.
