Support Post-16 Learners to Achieve Their Goals

We''re looking for a KS5 Tutor to support young people across West Sussex through personalised 1:1 tuition.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you''ll provide tailored support to learners studying at post-16 level, helping them build confidence, strengthen subject knowledge, and progress towards their educational goals. Learners may be preparing for A-Levels, vocational qualifications, Functional Skills, or other post-16 pathways and often benefit from a flexible approach tailored to their individual needs.

We''re particularly interested in tutors who can support learners in:

• Crawley
• Worthing
• Horsham
• Chichester
• Bognor Regis
• Littlehampton

Location: West Sussex

Key Stage: KS5

Start Date: September

Hours: Flexible

Pay Rate: -2530 per hour

Type: 1:1 Tuition

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years'' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles
• Experience supporting learners at KS5/Post-16 level
• Strong knowledge within your subject specialism
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Patient, adaptable, and learner-focused approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within West Sussex

• Experience anxiety or barriers to education
