KS4 SEN Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS4 SEN Teacher to work within a specialist SEN school. You will be supporting students aged 14-16 with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and a range of additional needs, helping them prepare for adulthood in a structured, nurturing, and supportive environment.This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference, delivering engaging and personalised learning that supports both academic progress and life skills development.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to KS4 students with SENAdapt the curriculum to meet a range of learning needs, including Autism and moderate to severe learning difficultiesDevelop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP targetsSupport students'' communication, social, emotional, and behavioural developmentPrepare pupils for adulthood, including functional skills, independence, and employability skillsCreate a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes engagement and well-beingWork collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and wider school staff to support holistic developmentRequirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience working with KS3/KS4 students with SEN, particularly Autism and Learning DisabilitiesStrong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient, and adaptable approachUnderstanding of EHCPs and SEN best practices within a specialist ..... full job details .....
