KS3 Classroom Teacher - PRU Setting

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a KS3 Classroom Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) setting in Ferryhill, supporting young people who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who understands that every young person learns differently and is passionate about helping pupils re-engage with education, build confidence and achieve their potential. The Role: As a KS3 Classroom Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS3. Adapt your teaching style and approach to meet individual learning needs. Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils. Create a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment. Support pupils with a range of additional needs and barriers to learning. Encourage pupils to develop their confidence, independence and engagement. Work closely with colleagues to support individual pupils and their educational development. Demonstrate resilience, patience and consistency when working with challenging behaviour. Have a genuine passion for helping children and young people succeed.
