      <description>Location: Wimborne Minster | Salary: &amp;pound;26.53 - &amp;pound;30/hour | Type: Temporary | We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and nurturing tutor to support a Year 6 young person with ASD and ADHD who is currently out of education.   The primary focus of this role is to help the young person re-engage with learning at a pace that suits their individual needs, building trust, confidence, resilience, and positive learning experiences before any academic expectations are introduced.    About the Role  - Location: BH21 (home-based initially) - Hours: Up to 10 hours per week - Start Date: September    Key Responsibilities  - Adopt a mentoring and nurturing approach to build a positive relationship with the young person. - Complete an initial baseline assessment to identify current attainment levels and gaps in learning. - Gradually introduce KS2 Maths and English in a way that is accessible, engaging, and pressure-free. - Develop the young person''s confidence, resilience, and readiness for more structured learning. - Work towards supporting a transition into a formal educational setting when a placement has been identified.
