They are looking for someone to start after the October half term until the end of the academic year.- The school is located in a small village, easily commutable and has modern facitlies with a very supportive staff team. - The Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant Encouraging independence within the class and within students, being proactive Develop and concentrate on building a relationship with the children, staff and family members. Constant and consistent communication with the class teacher, regarding progress and potential methods of work. Create a secure and positive environment for children to learn and feel comfortable. To apply for this Teaching Assistant role, you will need: An up-to-date DBS on the update service or dated within the last 12 months. A teaching assistant qualification or health and social care (level 2 or 3). Experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis or small groups work. Experience working with Primary school children.
