KS2 Teaching Assistant - Full Time - Islington - September 2026 StartA vibrant and supportive primary school based in Islington is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children to achieve both academically and socially within a positive and inclusive school environment.KS2 Teaching Assistant - The Role: Full-time position, Monday to Friday Working hours: 08:30am - 3:30pm Start date: September 2026 or sooner Long-term role until July 2027 Supporting across KS2 classrooms General classroom support role with additional support for pupils with SEND and mixed abilitiesThe ideal candidate will: Have previous experience working within a primary school setting Have strong experience supporting KS2 pupils Have experience supporting pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and speech and language needs Be proactive, adaptable and confident supporting mixed-ability learners Have a passion for motivating and supporting children to reach their full potential Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skillsMain responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils across KS2 during lessons and independent learning activities Delivering targeted interventions in Maths, Literacy and phonics where required Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis and within small groups Helping to adapt learning ..... full job details .....
