We are supporting a vibrant primary school seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with enthusiastic young learners and supportive teaching staff in a nurturing and inclusive environment.Key Responsibilities:- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons tailored to the diverse needs of pupils- Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils engage with learning activities- Help manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive atmosphere- Prepare and organise teaching resources and materials- Collaborate with staff to monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment processes- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all pupilsCandidate Requirements:- Recognised Level 3 qualification or above in childcare or education- Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting preferred- A genuine passion for helping children succeed and thrive- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils- Basic understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculumIf you are a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant ready to support young learners ..... full job details .....
