KS2 Teaching Assistant - Princes Risborough - October Half Term 2026A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Princes Risborough is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team after October half term 2026.This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive individual who enjoys working with children and supporting their learning and development. The role will involve general classroom support across Key Stage 2, alongside providing additional support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in response to the needs within each class.All classes have pupils with SEN, so the role will offer a varied balance of supporting the class as a whole, working one-to-one with individual pupils, and delivering small-group interventions. Pupils have a range of additional needs, including autism (ASD), deafness, Down syndrome, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Some pupils also have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).This position would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone looking to gain valuable experience in a primary school setting, including graduates considering a future career in teaching or another child-focused profession.This is a term-time position, working five days a week, with hours in line with the school day.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding general classroom support to KS2 pupils to help them engage with learning and make progress.Supporting pupils with SEN in response to ..... full job details .....
