This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to combine classroom teaching with subject leadership, driving excellence in mathematics across the school.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and LearningDeliver high-quality teaching to KS2 pupils, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with the National Curriculum.Plan, prepare, and assess learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement.Maths LeadershipLead the development and implementation of the whole-school maths curriculum.Monitor and evaluate the quality of maths teaching and learning, using data to inform improvement strategies.Organise and deliver CPD sessions for staff to enhance maths pedagogy.Support colleagues with planning, differentiation, and assessment in maths.Promote a culture of maths mastery and ensure consistency in teaching approaches.Additional DutiesContribute to school improvement planning and work closely with SLT.Organise maths enrichment activities, competitions, and parent workshops.Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.Essential QualificationsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) GCSEs in ..... full job details .....
