You will lead a class that includes pupils with a range of SEN needs, supported by experienced teaching assistants and a dedicated SENCo.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for a KS2 class, ensuring accessibility for pupils with a variety of needs.Work closely with the SENCo, support staff, and parents to develop and implement effective strategies for inclusion and progress.Creating a nurturing, supportive, and calm classroom environment that encourages independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning targets.Contribute to whole-school initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and positive behaviour whilst forging relationships with the pupils.Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.Proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally with exposure to or interest in supporting pupils with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH).Strong ..... full job details .....
