Supply Desk is partnering with a thriving Watford primary school seeking an experienced Upper KS2 Teacher to join from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead Years 5 and 6 through their final primary school years, delivering engaging, challenging lessons and preparing pupils for secondary school.
Key Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching Years 5 and 6
Strong understanding of SATs preparation and transition to KS3
Excellent classroom management, organisational, and behaviour management skills
High expectations for pupil achievement and progress
Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative, challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress and attainment
Prepare pupils for a smooth transition to secondary school
Lead or contribute to extracurricular and enrichment activities
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
