About the Role

An ambitious and supportive primary school in Aston Clinton is seeking a committed KS2 Teacher to join their team from November 2026. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum, ensuring all pupils’ individual needs are met

  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement

  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, using data effectively to inform future planning and targeted support

  • Encourage pupils to think critically, develop problem-solving skills, and engage confidently with their learning

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to share best practise and contribute to whole-school development

  • Build effective partnerships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeing

  • Participate actively in staff meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development opportunities

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching KS2

  • Comprehensive understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching and assessment strategies

  • Commitment to supporting pupils in becoming motivated, independent learners

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

  • Reflective, proactive and enthusiastic about continuous professional development
