KS2 Teacher - Wickford - Full Time - September 2026 Start

The Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire pupils to become confident, independent learners. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure every child reaches their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.



Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
  • Differentiate learning to ensure all children are challenged and supported.
  • Create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice.
  • Attend staff meetings, parents'' evenings and school events.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote excellent behaviour throughout the school.


We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 or is an enthusiastic ECT.
  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality education and training.
  • Has excellent classroom management skills.
  • Sets high expectations for all pupils.
  • Is committed to continuous professional development.
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life.
