Year 5 Teacher Location: Willenhall, Coventry, CV3Pay Scale: MPS £32,900 - UPS £51,000 + SEN Allowance (£2,679 - £5,497)Start Date: ASAPContract: Permanent (Long Term Futures)Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pmAre you a passionate and adaptable teacher with a strong interest in supporting children with additional needs?Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Willenhall, Coventry, to appoint a dedicated Year 5 Teacher. The class includes a number of pupils with SEN, including several children with EHCPs, so the school is ideally seeking someone with previous SEN experience or a strong ECT with a passion for inclusive teaching and supporting children with additional needs.Main ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for a Year 5 class.Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including children with EHCPs.Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCO, parents, and external professionals.Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and support plans where required.Use effective behaviour management strategies to support learning and engagement.What the School is Looking ForQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a strong interest in SEN.Experience supporting children with additional needs in a primary setting is desirable.Strong classroom management ..... full job details .....
