KS2 Teacher – Portsmouth, Hampshire

Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
Contract Type: Full-time, 2 terms

A primary school in Portsmouth is seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 teacher to join their close-knit, supportive community. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their practice.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum

• Foster an inclusive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive

• Assess and monitor pupil progress, giving constructive feedback

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support learning

• Maintain high standards for teaching, behaviour, and safeguarding

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Recent experience teaching Key Stage 2

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
