Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
Contract Type: Full-time, 2 terms
A primary school in Portsmouth is seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 teacher to join their close-knit, supportive community. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their practice.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
Foster an inclusive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive
Assess and monitor pupil progress, giving constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support learning
Maintain high standards for teaching, behaviour, and safeguarding
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching Key Stage 2
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
