Salary: £130 – £150 per day (dependent on experience)

GSL Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and confident Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Eastbourne. This long-term opportunity is perfect for a committed professional who thrives on helping children succeed and flourish in the classroom.

You will be leading a KS2 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that promote academic achievement and personal growth. This role includes full teaching responsibilities and collaboration with colleagues to ensure a consistent and inclusive approach to education.

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

• Foster independence, creativity, and a love of learning

• Set and maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour and progress

• Build a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment

• Collaborate with staff and communicate effectively with parents/carers

• Participate in whole-school events, CPD, and planning sessions

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Proven experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 setting

• Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• A passion for education and a commitment to pupil wellbeing

• A current CV and an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)

• Competitive daily rate: £130–£150 per day
