Key Stage 2 Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher seeking your next teaching opportunity? We are looking for a confident and adaptable teacher to join a school in Maidstone, Kent, starting in January 2027.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching within a designated KS2 classroom, delivering engaging lessons and creating a structured, supportive environment where pupils can thrive academically and personally.

• Take responsibility for teaching a KS2 class and delivering high-quality lessons.

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs and abilities of all pupils.

• Establish clear classroom routines and maintain high expectations for behaviour.

• Use effective behaviour management strategies to encourage positive learning and engagement.

• Monitor pupils'' progress and provide appropriate support to help them achieve their potential.

• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is highly desirable.

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A positive, professional and flexible approach to teaching.

• A valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for a new DBS check.

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as drivers are preferred.
