About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated KS2 Teacher to work on a full-time, agency basis in schools across Ashington. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential and preparing them for the next stage of their education.
Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages pupil progress
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil attainment and development
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners
  • Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments where appropriate
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Strong curriculum knowledge and classroom management skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach to teaching
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
