The student has diagnosed ADHD, emerging ASD needs, and significant social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) barriers which are currently preventing access to mainstream education. Due to extreme anxiety surrounding education and returning to school, it is essential that the successful tutor is able to take a patient, understanding, and trauma-informed approach. The student is currently working with a mentor and has made excellent progress. As a result, he is now demonstrating readiness for more advanced learning that goes beyond the mentor''s educational specialism. We are therefore looking for a tutor who can confidently deliver and lesson plan KS2 Maths and English sessions tailored to his individual needs and abilities. The primary focus of this provision will be to continue developing the student''s confidence, self-esteem, and trust in education.
