Are you a Primary Teacher with QTS and confidence teaching French? This part-time role in Carlisle is a good opportunity for a teacher looking for a regular weekly slot across the full 2026/27 academic year. You ll be teaching French to Key Stage 2 pupils across Year 3 to Year 6, helping make language learning engaging, interactive and accessible. The school would ideally like Thursday afternoons, but there may be some flexibility on the day. Role Details Location: Carlisle Pay Rate: £120-£150 daily rate, depending on scale and booking pattern AWR Pay Rate: From week 13 in the same role with the same hirer, where applicable, £168.80-£232.57 per day Schedule: Part-time - ideally Thursday afternoon, with some flexibility possible Start Date: 03/09/2026 End Date: 15/07/2027 Role Type: Temporary long-term booking for the academic year What You ll Be Doing You ll be supporting KS2 pupils with: French lessons across Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 Interactive language learning and speaking activities Building pupil confidence with basic vocabulary and pronunciation Planning and delivering engaging primary French sessions Making language learning fun, clear and accessible Working with school staff to maintain consistency across KS2 You ll Be a Good Fit If You Have Qualified Teacher Status Are confident teaching French to primary-aged pupils Enjoy working with children in Key Stage 2 Can make language learning engaging and accessible Are looking for a regular part-time ..... full job details .....
