Pay: -130 - -190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees). Rates are dependent on experience, qualifications, training and the client rate available.

About the Role

As a KS2 Class Teacher in Rotherham, you will deliver engaging lessons across Years 3 to 6, supporting pupils as they build confidence, independence and key academic skills.

Working as a KS2 Class Teacher throughout Rotherham provides the opportunity to experience a range of school environments while continuing to inspire and motivate learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
  * Differentiate learning to meet individual pupil needs
  * Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
  * Assess, monitor and record pupil progress
  * Prepare pupils for key assessments where required
  * Work collaboratively with support staff and leadership teams
  * Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  * Previous experience teaching within KS2
  * Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  * Adaptable and professional approach
  * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
