Your new role As a Level 2 (or above) qualified Teaching Assistant, you''ll be able to support a KS1 child working alongside the teacher to help manage daily routines and learning activities. You may assist small groups of children, but mainly 1 to 1, teaching a SEND child with tasks or provide general support as well as being able to modify challenging behaviour by creating a positive and engaging learning environment. This is a flexible and rewarding role where your contribution makes a real difference every day. What you''ll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you''ll need to be Level 2 qualified or above in childcare or education, with a proactive and supportive attitude. You should be confident working with children with different abilities, helping a child with tasks and classroom routines.
