Teaching Assistant - KS1 (Glossop) | April 2026 - July 2026

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Glossop, supporting pupils within Key Stage 1 from April 2026 until July 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young learners and helping them thrive in a nurturing classroom environment.

The Role

As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the classroom, with a particular focus on supporting children with SEND. You will help deliver engaging learning activities, provide targeted support, and help ensure all pupils can access the curriculum effectively.

The school is looking for someone who is confident, proactive and able to build positive relationships with pupils who require additional support.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School

• Be confident supporting children with SEND

• Be Read, Write Inc trained

• Have strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Be enthusiastic, patient and committed to supporting children''s learning and development
