KS1 Teacher - NottinghamAre you a qualified Primary Teacher with a passion for supporting children through the early stages of their education?Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic KS1 Teachers to work across primary schools in Nottingham and the surrounding areas.Opportunities are available across Year 1 and Year 2, with some schools also interested in teachers with Reception or wider EYFS experience. Roles include daily supply, short-term cover, long-term bookings and permanent opportunities.We are looking for full-time and part-time teachers, including experienced teachers and ECTs.ResponsibilitiesPlanning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculumDelivering effective phonics and early-reading teachingSupporting pupils with reading, writing and mathematicsDeveloping children''s communication, language and vocabularyCreating a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environmentAssessing pupil progress and adapting teaching appropriatelySupporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needsWorking effectively with Teaching Assistants, colleagues and parentsRequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or confirmation that QTS will be awarded following teacher trainingRecent KS1 experience through employment or teaching placementsStrong knowledge of phonics and early readingGood understanding of the Primary National CurriculumEYFS or Reception experience would also be advantageousStrong classroom and behaviour management ..... full job details .....
