About the role and school

We are seeking a KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent from September. This KS1 Teacher role is ideal for a passionate practitioner who enjoys delivering engaging learning across Key Stage 1 and supporting pupils at a crucial stage in their development. The KS1 Teacher will join a supportive and ambitious school with a strong focus on high standards, inclusion and pupil progress. As a KS1 Teacher, you will benefit from collaborative planning, excellent behaviour systems and a leadership team committed to staff development. This KS1 Teacher position is suitable for an experienced KS1 Teacher or a confident practitioner looking to develop further within a high-performing Inner London school.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons as a KS1 Teacher
• Plan and assess learning across the KS1 curriculum
• Support pupil progress and attainment
• Maintain strong behaviour and classroom routines
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school
• Contribute to wider school life as a KS1 Teacher

Qualifications/Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• KS1 teaching experience desirable
• Strong curriculum knowledge
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
