We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable KS1 Supply Teachersandnbsp;to support our partner primary schools in Slough. Whether you''re an experienced teacher looking for flexible workandnbsp;or an ECT/NQT aiming to gain more classroom experience, this is a great opportunity to teach across a variety of school settings in the local area.
As a KS1 Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring pupils remain engaged and supportedandnbsp;during your time with them.
About the Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessonsandnbsp;in accordance with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively while creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Adapt confidently to different school settings, following each school''s policies and procedures to ensure continuity and a smooth learning experience for pupils
- Support the holistic development of young learners, promoting equal opportunities and ensuring the needs of all students are met
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)andnbsp;or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Proven ability to maintain strong classroom management, particularly with young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
- Enhanced DBS checkandnbsp;registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
