We are seeking a dedicated and motivated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming, one-form-entry primary school in Erdington, Birmingham.

This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and helping young learners develop the essential skills they need to succeed.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and will continue until the end of the academic year, with daily pay of up to -270 depending on experience.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
• Teach core subjects, including phonics, reading, writing and mathematics.
• Create a positive, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, identifying areas for further development.
• Support children''s academic, social and emotional development.
• Establish positive behaviour management strategies and maintain high expectations.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil progress and attainment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Has a strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum and phonics.
• Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Can deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire young learners.
• Is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
