KS1 Teacher

The school is seeking a passionate and experienced KS1 teacher to join the team from October 2025 covering maternity. This is a full-time teaching role with responsibilities including:

• Planning and preparing engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Marking pupils'' work and providing constructive feedback
• Writing detailed reports and setting individual targets for pupils
• Conducting assessments to monitor progress and inform planning
• Attending and contributing to parents'' evenings and school events
• Liaising closely with the class Teaching Assistant to support lower ability and SEN pupils
• Tailoring learning activities in line with EHCPs to ensure inclusive and effective support

What you''ll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in KS1
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Experience supporting children with SEN and working with EHCPs
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching
