KS1 Teacher

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Academics is working with a large, welcoming primary school near Barry to recruit a passionate teacher who can inspire and engage pupils across Key Stage 1.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons for KS1 pupils

• Support literacy, numeracy, and phonics development

• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed

• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and leadership teams

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Previous experience teaching KS1 pupils

• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum

• Enhanced DBS (Update Service or willing to apply)

• Two professional references
