Job Title: Primary Teacher – KS1

Salary: £130 - £150 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Primary Teacher looking for a new role this September?

GSL Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated KS1 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in the Hailsham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners and contribute to a nurturing school community.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum

• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and motivated

• Assess and track student progress to ensure continued development

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers

• Follow school policies on behaviour, assessment, and safeguarding

• Take part in staff meetings, training, and school initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

• Proven experience teaching in KS1

• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Passionate about delivering high-quality education and supporting children’s growth

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

• Updated CV with relevant experience
