We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher for a teaching position in Gravesend, Kent, commencing in January 2027.

This role would suit a qualified teacher who is passionate about supporting younger learners and creating an engaging, structured classroom where children feel encouraged to learn and develop. The successful candidate will work within a designated KS1 classroom, delivering effective lessons and ensuring pupils receive the guidance and support they need to succeed.

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom that promotes learning and pupil confidence.

• Maintain effective classroom routines and high expectations for behaviour.

• Use appropriate behaviour management techniques to ensure pupils remain focused and engaged.

• Adapt teaching approaches to accommodate different abilities and learning needs.

• Track pupil progress and provide support to help children achieve their learning goals.

• Work effectively with other members of staff to support pupils'' overall development.

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.

• Previous KS1 teaching experience is desirable.

• Confident behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.

• The ability to create a safe, stimulating and well-managed learning environment.

• A patient, approachable and professional attitude.

• Must hold a current DBS certificate or be willing to apply for a new one.

• Drivers are preferred, with a full UK driving licence and access to transport being advantageous.
