Are you a passionate, reliable, and adaptable KS1 teacher looking for flexible work in Aylesbury£ We are currently recruiting Key Stage 1 Supply Teachers to support local primary schools with day-to-day, short-term, and longer-term cover starting in January 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (ECTs) who want to gain experience in a variety of school settings, maintain work-life balance, or transition back into teaching.
About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality teaching to Key Stage 1 classes, following existing plans or adapting to meet pupil needs.
- Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports pupils'' academic and personal development.
- Follow school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and assessment.
- Communicate effectively with teaching assistants, senior leaders, and support staff.
- Be flexible, punctual, and professional while adapting to different school environments.
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2).
- Good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, phonics (e.g. Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds), and early assessment frameworks.
- Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to learning and behaviour.
- A flexible and proactive attitude, with the ability to hit the ground running.
- A passion for supporting young learners during their crucial early years in education.
