Are you an experienced and passionate KS1 Teacher with strong Phonics knowledge and confident in preparing children for Year 2 SATs?
Link3 Recruitment is working in partnership with a range of fantastic schools across Coventry and surrounding areas, including Independent Schools, Local Authority Primaries, Academies, and Multi-Academy Trusts, to recruit high-quality Key Stage 1 Supply Teachers.
We are seeking adaptable and skilled teachers who can create engaging learning environments and deliver targeted support across Years 1 and 2.

The Role – KS1 Supply Teacher (Year 1 & Year 2):
We are looking for Qualified Teachers (QTS required) who can deliver high-quality, creative, and structured lessons in Key Stage 1 – particularly in Phonics, Reading, and SATs preparation for Year 2. Roles include day-to-day cover, short-term contracts, and longer-term placements including Maternity and Sickness cover.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent experience in KS1, particularly Year 2
- Be confident with Phonics screening (e.g. Letters & Sounds, Read Write Inc., Jolly Phonics or similar)
- Have experience preparing and supporting pupils for Year 2 SATs in Reading, Writing, SPaG and Maths
- Be confident in using formative and summative assessment to inform planning and progress tracking
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and a nurturing approach
- Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to inclusive teaching that supports all learners, including those with EAL and SEND
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff alike

DBS Requirement:
All applicants must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service.
