Position: KS1 Supply Teacher

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: -130 - -190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role

As a KS1 Supply Teacher in Sheffield, you will teach pupils in Years 1 and 2, delivering engaging lessons that support their learning and development.

The KS1 Supply Teacher role may involve following existing lesson plans for day-to-day cover or taking on longer-term responsibilities, depending on the needs of each Sheffield school.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1
• Follow school planning and curriculum requirements
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Assess and support pupil progress where required
• Adapt activities to meet different learning needs
• Work collaboratively with school staff
• Follow safeguarding and school policies

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school
• Confidence teaching KS1 pupils
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to obtain one
